WBII Website 2020

Project Description

The website had been in need of a full redesign for many years and in true WBII spirit, we brought together a fantastic team to work on the identity, marketing and development of a website that could automate many of the WBII admin functions.

This project was a full collaboration, bringing in expertise and a genuine understanding of the nature  and intention of the WBII organisation.

Natalie Carstens brought her analytical mind to the project,  defining which tools would best suit the membership platform giving the WBII a fully automated system which the members themselves could manage. We also needed a system that could manage our events, streamlining our promotions and office management roles.

Ugne Marchionno contributed her expertise to the marketing strategy by first helping us identify who our audience is, and how best to communicate with them. Ugne helped us define our goals and helped us implement our social media strategy.

Dymphna Elsink, Deborah Valentine, Natalie and myself took on the mammoth task or restructuring the content, and re-writing where necessary, as well as reorganising the hundreds of WBII documents and images that have been collected over the years!

The Mighty Comms team (as we like to call it) was created during the process of developing the new website, and the wonderfully creative Cigdem Guven took on the role of illustrator for our event promotions as well as creating illustrations for the WBII website. Cigdem also edits the new website.

As the project progressed and the Mighty Comms team developed, not only did Moran Greenwald step up as manager for the team to keep the overview of the communications in hand, she has also give the WBII website a complete and professional SEO overhaul!

In true Lemonberry collaboration style, we invited members to join us early December 2019 for a photo-shoot run by the incredibly talented Vinita Salomé. 13 of us joined Vinita for a fast paced and fun photo-shoot at Dymphna Elsink‘s beautiful office location, followed by a wonderful networking lunch as a thank you to our models! Thanks to Vinita’s calming and focused presence, and absolute professionalism, we were able to capture these fantastic photos.
