One of the greatest pleasures of being a designer is seeing your work come to life in the real world. There’s something incredibly special about walking into a new space and seeing the colours, graphics, signage, and visual details we created becoming part of the customer experience.
I’ve been working with the Smile Designer team for more than five years, supporting them as their brand has grown and developed. So, being invited to the opening of their second practice was a particularly proud moment. It was wonderful to see the Smile Designer identity carried into a new location while still feeling familiar, welcoming, and connected to the original practice.
Opening a second location is a huge achievement for any business. It represents growth, ambition, and the trust that has been built with existing clients. For Smile Designer, it also creates the opportunity to welcome even more patients and make their specialist orthodontic care accessible to a wider community.
As a designer, it’s easy to focus on the work while it’s still on screen or in development. But visiting the finished space brings a completely different sense of satisfaction. Seeing people move through the practice and experience the brand in person makes the process feel tangible and real.
I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve created together and delighted to see the Smile Designer brand continuing to grow. A huge congratulations to the entire Smile Designer team on this exciting new chapter. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
